Dubai web development links to brand engagement.  The web development impact to online marketing has a greater effect on brand engagement than any other advertising medium in the media, a new study has shown.

Research conducted by the Internet Advertising (IAB) and Carat Insight in late 2006 found that a company's web development advertising contributed 15 per cent to brand engagement and "the internet has a greater effect on brand engagement than any other medium".

In the UK, online contributes around 40 per cent of the advertising effect, followed by print media (36.7 per cent), TV (17.6 per cent) and outdoor media (4.1 per cent).

The growth of the internet and web development was also shown to have a crucial role in the spread of indirect brand experiences – such as reading customer reviews. Online contributes 27.5 of the effect on engagement in this area. This was followed by offline experiences such as TV shows and magazine reviews (19 per cent).

Web Development in Dubai

Companies in the Middle East are increasingly channeling more of their media funds into online web development as its benefits become clearer.  Online benefits are not only apparent for large companies but for small also. Shane Redding of the Institute of Direct Marketing in the UK says "There is a clear need for small business owners to better understand the opportunities available so that they can continue to thrive and compete against larger businesses."

More and more people from the UK, USA and Europe are moving to the Middle East and with them come their sophisticated web demands.  There are aware of the internet and its advantages and will quickly come to expect the same from the development of the Middle East online market.

Many of these web development companies are located in Dubai’s media hub, but only a few really understand how media change is about to impact business.  These days it goes a lot further than web development in Dubai.

Luckily some tech firms in the Middle East have recognized this trend in web development and its impact on brand media. Expertise is starting to appear into the Middle East.  Two such companies following this trend are Flip Media and Onlime.

Onlime Flips out and provides a solution

Flip media is a creative agency offering innovation and interactive online solutions.  Their product Brand Central is the first independent 3rd party tracking service for online advertising within the Middle East. It already serves a large amount of all regional online marketing campaigns in the Middle East.

Onlime is a web development company based in Dubai.  With years of global expertise under their belt, it’s reassuring to know Onlime’s experience doesn’t just come from local markets where technological knowledge is still developing.  They are focused on developing customized media channels for clients, turning a marketing message into an entertaining online media channel is the Onlime mantra once onboard they assist in monetarizing a site so that it pays for its cost.  This is an interesting market development for the middle east.

Onlime combine to offer an all singing and dancing web solution for your company and you will be assured that every avenue has been considered and the most advanced knowledge in the region applied.  You only have to Google Flip Media or Onlime Middle East to know they plainly know about search engine optimization. Onlime and Flip’s easy to navigate websites are also examples of their competencies.  Both companies have strongly embraced web two technologies, although with two very different CMS platforms.  Onlime’s MINT CMS (Content Management System) is a fork of the most popular Joomla platform where Flip seem to prefer word press as a rule.  The fact that both companies embrace the open source frameworks all be it customized with a lot of  in house custom development is not inconsequential when you look at the web development market in the UAE.

When fighting to get your brand remembered and found over others, the question is no longer whether companies should go online, but how they can go online effectively.   The choice is clear Onlime or Flip Media.  Personally knowing the guys behind Onlime I view them as forward thinking and innovative but we will have to wait and see flip certainly get a lot of the corporate business where Onlime really seem to be sweeping up on the grey label media market.
